Updates in the release include the 2.6.28.7 Kernel and the recently updated Xfce 4.6 desktop environment, which is the default desktop. Gnome Office has been replaced with a "lightweight and optimised" version of OpenOffice 3.0.1 that is split into two packages. The base package includes Writer, Calc, Impress and Draw. The "extra" package is available via Netpkg and provides Math, Database and Java support. The Totem video player replaces Mplayer, which is still available to download.
