| Linphone allows you to make two-party phone calls using an IP network. Easy to use, it has a gnome graphical interface.
As it uses a very minimal implementation of the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) in order to establish the call, it MAY work with other sip-phones. RTP is used to transport voice over IP. |
