| aRts is an analog realtime synthesizer which is completely modular. You can create sounds & music (realtime midi synthesis) using small modules like oscillators for creating waveforms, various filters, mixers, faders, etc. You can build your complete setup with the GUI of the system under KDE. The aRts server is controlled via CORBA. This design is intended to let other applications use aRts as synthesizer (or filter provider). |
